April 2009:
David Choules in the Marathon des Sables
David Choules, Director of Helios completed the Marathon des Sables - a gruelling 5 day 151km race across the Sahara desert. David finished was the 7th Brit home and came 54th overall out of a field of over 800 runners. Running in aid of local charity The Pepper Foundation, David raised more than £12,500 to help them support very sick children and their families.

New project - Valency House
Helios has been appointed as Quantity Surveyor by Amalgamated Properties Ltd to work on an exciting new project in Northwood, Herts. The project involves the conversion of an existing house into 6 luxury apartments and the building of 3 substantial family homes, and 4 terraced houses.

Consultancy role for Luton Borough Council
We are delighted to have been appointed by the Luton Borough Council to advise on applications for early years projects funded by the Capital Funding programme. This will include helping schools, nurseries and Children''s Centres to apply for funding, evaluating schemes and assisting with the tendering process.

The design and fit-out of a 120 bed boutique hotel behind a Grade 2* listed facade in the centre of London.
The conversion of an existing office building in Wales Square, Norwich into 47 serviced apartments.
March 2008:
New projects in Reading
Helios will act as Project Managers for two buildings which form part of the regeneration scheme for the central area of Reading.
Station Road. The construction of a 29 storey 4 star hotel with restaurant, bars, meeting rooms and conference facilities. The building will incorporate a stunning "floating cube" piece of artwork.
Garrard House. The conversion of an existing office block in to 108 apartments of varying size.
